41Due to faulty lifestyles in today’s world, there has been an alarming rise in cases of diabetes in India of late, and it’s certainly a huge wake-up call for all of us. Major lifestyle changes in the last couple of decades have played their part too. People hardly go for any physical activity these days and such sedentary lifestyle helps no one. Also, urbanisation has increased the stress levels like never before, which leads to majorĀ  hormonal changes in our body that leave us prone to diabetes.Changes in our food pattern haven’t helped either. Earlier, people would eat a lot of green vegetables everyday but opting for more and more of processed foods high in fats is causing obesity.So what is the way out?
