Jagannathpur Development Association, UK distributes warm clothes

Jagannathpur Development Association UK (Jagannathpur Unnayan Sangstha),

an expatriate social welfare organisation, distribated 500 blankets at No. 8

Asharkandi union under Jagannathpur Upazila of Sunamgonj district on January

11, 2015, Sunday. These blankets were distributed among distressed people at a

programme organised on the premises of Abdul Bari Community centre run by

News UK in local Nayabaz. Earlier a list of destitutes was made by all elected

members of the union in this regard. This program was presided by the

president of the association Taher Kamali. and addressed by upazila vice

chairman Muktadir Hassan mukta. Former U/P Chairman and poet researcher

Dinul Islam Babul also spoke at the programme as special guest.also Haji Ustar

Miah, Haji Hannan miah, Abdul Latif, Nurul Islam Gulab Ali and other

attended as special guests.
